2025 Canada Games Host Society

A dedicated team of Host Society staff and volunteers is preparing to deliver an exceptional experience for the 2025 Canada Games in St. John’s. We’re looking to recruit 5,000 volunteers for the Games.


Academy Canada

We’re NL’s largest career college with 14 locations across NL. We’ve trained 40,000 graduates since 1985 and currently offer 35 programs across 6 faculties, as well as Adult Basic Education (High School equivalency).


Amal Youth and Family Centre

AMAL Unite & Empower help foster a diverse workforce in Newfoundland and Labrador by providing free, tailored support services to newcomers, employers, and recruiters, facilitating seamless integration into the local workforce.


Association Communautaire Francophone de Saint Jean (ACFSJ)

The Francophone Community Association of Saint-Jean (ACFSJ) is a non-profit organization that offers a wide variety of activities and services for all tastes and budgets. Most of our activities take place at the French-speaking community center.


Association for New Canadians

The Association for New Canadians (ANC) is a non-profit organization providing settlement and integration services to immigrants and refugees in Newfoundland and Labrador. For over 40 years, ANC has offered programs supporting immigrant integration, including settlement, language learning, skills development, and employment.


Bell Aliant

Bell Aliant Pippy Place Family and Business Center is a Bell support location here to help with bill assessment, new services and questions regarding everything Telecom and internet.


Canada Revenue Agency

We offer outreach services on benefits and credits and the community volunteer income tax program to modest income Canadians.


Canadian Red Cross

The Canadian Red Cross in Newfoundland and Labrador offers an extensive network of programs and services that actively reach out and serve local communities throughout the province.


City of St. John’s Recreation Division

The City offers a variety of recreation programs and opportunities. Our recreation programs are High Five® accredited, Canada’s only nationally recognized quality assurance framework for excellence in recreation programming.


College of the North Atlantic

We are Newfoundland and Labrador’s public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back 60 years. We offer over 100 programs in 9 different areas of study throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.


Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador

The Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador (CSCNL) promotes social and economic well-being, fostering an inclusive province that uplifts individuals, families, and communities. Since 1977, CSCNL has empowered the community sector by encouraging volunteerism, strengthening organizations, and advocating for non-profits. As we celebrate 46 years, we continue to drive positive change through engagement, progress, and shared expertise.


Fédération des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador (FFTNL) Immigration

Settlement service provider to the francophone newcomers.  Our goal is to welcome, connect and orient the newcomers.


Digital Government and Service NL – Motor Registration Division (DGSNL/MRD)

DGSNL/MRD provides driver licensing, vehicle registration and photo ID services to the general public. These drivers licensing and registration services are for all classes of drivers and vehicles, including both commercial and non-commercial drivers and vehicles.


Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism

The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism, part of the Department of Immigration, Population Growth & Skills, manages the NL Provincial Nominee and Atlantic Immigration Programs. It promotes immigration benefits, diversity, and Newfoundland and Labrador as a prime destination, while supporting retention through enhanced settlement services and collaboration with stakeholders.


HORIZON TNL

For more than 20 years, the mandate of HORIZON TNL (formerly RDÉE TNL) has focused on the economic progress of the province, using French as a catalyst to drive economic development. Our top priorities are employability, immigration, entrepreneurship, and tourism.


Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is a non-profit membership association established in 1983 that leads and supports the province’s tourism industry. As the voice of the industry, it plays a key role in driving tourism growth and development in Newfoundland and Labrador.


International Education Newfoundland and Labrador (Study & Stay NL)

International Education Newfoundland and Labrador (IENL) is an association promoting international education in the province. Its main program, Study and Stay NL, helps final-year international students at MUN and CNA develop career skills, entrepreneurship, and networking, while also offering support with local culture, soft skills, and immigration to encourage long-term settlement in Newfoundland and Labrador.


MCP – Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Health Care Plan

The Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Medical Care Plan.  Available to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents as well as International Workers and Students and their dependents who have made a permanent move to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland & Labrador Public Libraries

Newfoundland & Labrador Public Libraries (NLPL) work to ensure that library materials, free access to the Internet, and programs are available to meet the needs of Newfoundland and Labrador’s people. This is provided through a network of 94 public libraries, three of which are located in St. John’s.


Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation

Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation (NLHC) is the housing arm of the provincial government. NLHC is committed to addressing the housing needs of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador who are most in need and to work in partnership with community groups that can contribute to an enhanced quality of life for our clients. The corporation’s mandate is the development of policy, planning, delivery, administration and evaluation of an array of social housing programs as well as the maintenance of our housing portfolio.

At the Business Information Centre, we can assist you in navigating the regulatory process. Waste and Recycling Division, Department of Public Works, City of St. John’s

The Waste & Recycling Division of the City of St. John’s is responsible for providing curbside waste collection of garbage, recycling and yard waste for St. John’s residents. We also operate the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility, a modern and environmentally-sound, integrated facility that services the eastern region of the province.


YWCA St. John’s

YWCA St. John’s is a not-for-profit organization with a long history of providing valuable programming and services for women, girls, and gender diverse folks in our community.
